Summary
What does this car say about you?
Safe and reliable family type with 2.2 children and a dog.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Had some very positive comments about the car ie it's looks, interior space and comfort,.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, I like the look of it and it is a bit of a left field choice in the SUV/softroader category. The dealer was good to deal with and the car has a lifetime warranty all the while I own it. Might go for the SE NAV with more gadgets and an auto box.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure yet as I will be paying this one off for another 4 years yet but it will be something SUV/4X4 and large- ish.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£19,600
When did you buy the car?
September 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, 7% discount through Vauxhall partners, low deposit and 5 years interest free with a Lifetime warranty as long as I own the car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looks, interior space, nice size boot and good deal at the dealers.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and helpful (all staff) and they all knew what was occurring at any time regardless of whether it as their sale or not.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Engine is quite revvy and will cruise all day at high speed but lacks low down torque which might hinder towers/caravanists. Not quite as economical as I would have liked, averaging 27/28 MPG but a lot of that is local driving.
What's it like to park?
The front and rear parking sensors are a real help as the view out of the rear window is limited and the front drops away so sensors are an essential aid.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Early niggles included gear stick linkage coming loose and rear doors sticking but sorted out under warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
Excellent interior space and good driving position and a fair size boot. Getting in and out is easy and you sit up a little bit over a saloon car but not as high as a proper 4X4.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Central dashboard layout, simple yet functional.
